Happy Leap Day

Happy Leap Day!

I hope that you're enjoying this magical day.  I wonder how many of you have a birthday today.  :)

I'm sitting in the parking lot at a hospital while my best friend is inside doing cardiac rehab. Last night I sat in the ER for three hours while my daughter was evaluated for dehydration.  Needless to say, I'm grateful the people I love are healthy but it gets emotionally taxing to sit by and watch these things.

It got me to thinking.  I am super grateful that i am surrounded by amazing people and that I'm able to be by their side when they need me.  I'm also grateful that things aren't worse.

Life is such a fragile thing.  We take so much for granted.  Good health is definitely one of those gifts that we don't always take the time to really appreciate.

Friendship is another.  I've had some of the most wonderful people come into my life.  I've been blessed with six beautiful children.  I try my best to remind them that friendship is a wonderful gift not to be treated badly.  And I also teach them to be careful who they allow in their friendship circle.

My older daughters got in a fight yesterday. I think it was part boredom and part loneliness.  They have each other but they're very different.  They have different interests and different friends.  Neither of them were able to hang out with their friends and so they were stuck with each other.  But another point came up....

Being okay with being alone.

It's ok and I believe necessary, to have a little alone time once  in a while.  Like I'm sitting here right now, in the car.  No radio.  No one to talk to.  Just me and my notebook and my thoughts.  It's a nice time to let my creativity flow.  To pen my thoughts.  To allow my words to dance along the lines of my paper.

I am blessed.
I am grateful.
I am loved.
I am happy.

How are you today?

Make Today Count.

Being A Mompreneur Is Hard Sometimes

Being A Mompreneur Is Hard Sometimes

I've been online since 1999.  I've tried every business under the sun.  I've always dreamed of being a WAHM (work at home mom) and spending every possible moment with my kids AND earn additional income.

However, sometimes, life gets complicated.  Products and services aren't always what they seem.  Uplines and support teams aren't who they seem to be.  Where does that leave a person like me? Like you, perhaps?

Who the hell wants any of that?  If you want all that crap, just go out and get a regular job...

Yep.  That's what I did.

Now, I love my job as a Veterinary Technician. keeps me away from my kids 10 hours a day.  5 days a week.  All but six holidays a year.

But, I won't be discouraged.

I won't let it stop me.

In fact. I let it FIRE ME UP.

I want to be with my kids every day.

Every. Friggin.  Day.

I don't want to miss another birthday.

I don't want to miss another school event.

I don't want to be away from my sick child.

So, here I am....working my way to having my own successful business so I can be a FULL time mom.

And it's going well.

I'm loving it.

And, I can make a difference at the same time.

If you are a mompreneur and things just aren't going the way you'd like... don't have the support you need...'re sponsor is MIA...'re busting your ass calling leads and getting frustrated... spend way more hours trying to get your business off the ground than you would working
a 9-5...

....I invite you to follow my blog for awhile and see if you find anything that speaks to you.
A little inspiration.

A little motivation.

A little push.

A hard nudge.

I'm here FOR YOU!

Mompreneur...what is your greatest challenge?

Mompreneurs:  What is your greatest challenge?

Hello Mompreneurs!!

It's an honor to have you pop by my little blog today.  I am posing this question and would LOVE to hear back from you.  Just type a comment below.

What is your greatest challenge?

Don't think too much about the question, just let the first thing that comes to mind be your answer.

For some it might be getting leads, for others it may be more time with their family.  It can be having better relationships or how to leave the j.o.b.

Whatever it is...or if a couple come to mind...just type them.

I look forward to reading YOUR comments and sharing some insight to help you with the challenges you face.

Love & Peace,
